Internship in School Psychology II

Catalog description
This course is associated with the Spring semester of the final field experience for school psychology candidates. Interns complete 1200 or more hours (at least 600 of which must occur in a school setting), inclusive of site and program expectations of a varied-role experience. University-based supervision and an average of two hours a week of field-based supervision by a qualified school district school psychologist are provided. An internship is required in order to apply for listing in the National School Psychology Certification System and to complete School Psychology Programs approved by the National Association of School Psychologists.
