Catalog description

This course is designed to acquaint the student with social welfare policy and social justice in the United States, as well as the impact of that policy on program development and the manner in which needs of society are met or left unmet. It is further designed to help the student understand the advocacy role of social workers and the steps necessary to implement such a change effort in policy/practice dimension of generalist practice.
