Catalog description

The course is a research-intensive seminar, which should enable you to integrate, apply, and expand upon knowledge from previous sociology courses. Students enrolled in this course will complete an original research project, write up the results of their research, and present it to their classmates as well as the broader campus community. This course also serves as a bridge between your academic experience and your post-graduation life. We will spend some of our class time talking about and preparing for your transition from full time student to someone looking for and attaining a job/career/higher degree. Prerequisites: SOCI 300, 27 Credits of Sociology or Criminology, and Senior Status. (As offered)
