Catalog description

This class examines the techniques of statistical analysis used in the social sciences. The focus for this class is on understanding and applying descriptive and inferential statistics. Topics which will be covered include measures of central tendency and dispersion, sampling, correlation, and basic multivariate techniques. Prerequisites: SOCI 200, or PSYC 101, or POLS 114, or consent of the instructor. (As offered)
