Triple Bottom Line Accounting for Managers

Catalog description

In this course students will be introduced to the discipline of financial and managerial accounting and will learn how this information is used in decision making. They will gain a basic knowledge of the preparation of financial statements and their analytical use and will explore how this accounting information is applied by managers in the decision-making process helping organizations meet the triple bottom line (strong profits, healthy environment, and vital communities). Prerequisite: College-level math (As offered)
