Professional Development in Literacy

Catalog description

This course examines the role of the reading specialist and coach (as well as other leadership roles) as recommended and outlined by research and professional organizations. Candidates develop expertise in collaborative and coaching roles at the schoolwide level to improve and develop literacy instructional practices, design or revise literacy curricula, and lead professional learning experiences.
