Catalog description

This course prepares students in all aspects of supervising and administering a reading program in K-12 schools as a Reading Specialist. Students will gain the skills to work collaboratively with colleagues; demonstrate leadership and facilitation; and advocate on behalf of teachers, students, families, and communities. Students will work with teachers, administrators, parents, and other educational stakeholders to carry out a practicum-based project. (As Offered)
