Internship in Psychology

Catalog description

The Psychology Department internship program places selected students in human service agencies, businesses, or other organizations to provide opportunities to apply their knowledge of psychology and further their professional development. The internship site must be approved in advance by the Psychology Department. The duties and responsibilities of the internship will be tailored to the needs of the sponsoring organization and the background of the student. Prerequisites: 60 semester hour credits (at least 20 credits in psychology), 2.5 G.PA., and consent of department internship supervisor.
