Catalog description

Want to better understand why people do what they do? This course examines how we think about ourselves and others, how we justify our behavior, and how the situation influences thinking and behavior. Specific topics include: social perception, self control and self regulation, attitudes and attitude change, conformity and social influence, relationships, aggression, bias, and prejudice. Prerequisites: PSYC 101 and one of the following statistics courses: PSYC 201, MATH 216, MATH 226, ECON 226, MATH 231; or permission of instructor (F, SP)
