Developmental Psychology: Adulthood & Aging

Catalog description

This course explores research and theory in developmental psychology from emerging adulthood through old age and death. Key topics include the changing body, disorders of the brain, cognitive development, ageism, relationships, work and retirement, and death/dying. Consideration is given to the implications and application of theory and research to real life. Prerequisites: PSYC 101 and one of the following statistics courses: PSYC 201, MATH 216, MATH 226, ECON 226, MATH 231; or permission of instructor (Sp).
