Catalog description

This course introduces the methods used by psychologists to conduct research. Special emphasis is placed on experimental research design (e.g., within- and between subjects approaches, factorial designs), application and analysis. Students will complete research projects, conduct statistical analyses of data and use American Psychological Association writing style to communicate research findings. This is a writing intensive course. Prerequisite: One of the following statistics courses: PSYC 201, MATH 216, MATH 226, ECON 226, MATH 231; or permission of instructor. (F, Sp)
