Introduction to Psychological Sciences

Catalog description

This course will introduce you to your new department and field of study. Together we will examine the nature of the psychological sciences, disciplines within the psychological sciences, and the Psychological Sciences Department at UWRF. Digging deeper, you will learn about how science works and why it is essential to the psychological sciences. You will also learn more about how to apply the critical thinking skills necessary for scientific reasoning. Finally, you will meet faculty and students involved in our department and learn more about department resources that can contribute to your success as a student. Prerequisites: First year psychology and/or neuroscience majors(F)
