Envisioning either ideal societies or terrifying possibilities are ways to critique present realities or to promulgate ideas of a just state. We will discuss many futuristic visions, so as to explore various ideals (technological, liberal, Marxist, aristocratic, moralistic, feminist, etc.), and to figure out what is right and desirable.
