Symphony Band

Catalog description

Symphony Band provides an opportunity for students to gain knowledge about composers, styles, and compositions through performance in this ensemble. In this course, students will have the opportunity to examine and research compositions, including the contributions of the composers to various ensembles; gain skills in critical listening; apply the elements of music to discussions and reflections; and develop personal growth through rehearsals, sectionals and performances.
