Catalog description

This course provides an opportunity for students to explore choral and instrumental literature from both a historical and analytical view, including an overview of existent literature as well as practical skills in analysis to aid in selecting appropriate literature for use in a variety of performance-based school music settings. Prerequisite: MUS 231 or 236 or permission of instructor. (F)
