In this course students will study borrowed chords, Neapolitan 6th chords, augmented 6th chords, 9th, 11th, and 13th chords, altered dominants, chromatic mediants, two-voice 19th-century counterpoint, the fugue, and variation technique. Prerequisite: MUS 131 (As offered)
