In this course, students will study pitch comparison, scales, tonality, key, modes, intervals, transposition, chords & rhythm, cadences, non-harmonic tones, melodic dictation, rhythmic dictation, sight singing, and part-writing. Prerequisites: Music Skills Assessment, administered by Music Program faculty; consent of the instructor required Offering Term(s): Spring
