Military Science and Leadership Independent Study

Catalog description
Students propose an independent study project on a topic in military history, military tactics or political/military leadership to the instructor. Projects may include library research or original empirical research. Students work independently, with supervising instructor, providing oversight and assistance. Students will also continue to develop proficiency in planning and executing complex operations and mentoring subordinates in the ROTC program during weekly lab sessions. Students will continue to perform and assist with physical training sessions three days a week. Prerequisites: Minimum Sophomore standing. Instructor/chair consent is required. (F, Sp)
