Catalog description

This doctoral course will give an in depth study to the connections between Montessori education and special education/inclusion. Three parts to the course include a focus on special education research, policies and laws and legal case studies affecting students with disabilities in private and public Montessori schools, and practical implications and evidence-based practices for students with disabilities in the Montessori classroom. Prerequisites: MONT 800 or permission of Montessori Program Director. (As Offered).
