Catalog description

Participants will have the opportunity to critically evaluate research in Montessori education, as well as explore comparative education studies focusing on motivation, autonomy, learning environments, classroom relationships and course content. Students will also learn to design, implement and share teacher research projects using qualitative and quantitative methodologies. Prerequisite: MONT 722 or MONT 724; MONT 732 or MONT 734 & 735; MONT 742 or MONT 744 & 745; or permission of Program Coordinator.
