Catalog description

Participants explore techniques for effective educational leadership, including preparation of the environment, curriculum design/strategies, scheduling, assessment, and guidance in diverse classroom cultures. They focus on establishing parent-educator partnerships and being effective guides in diverse classroom cultures. Through reflective practice, participants learn to view educational leadership as a transformative process. Prerequisite: MONT 500; and MONT 724 or MONT 734 or MONT 735; or permission of instructor
