Catalog description

This class is intended as one of the first courses adult learners take in the Montessori Elementary program. They will explore topics important for the beginning teacher in a Montessori classroom, including structure and preparation of the physical environment, starting a new class, role of the teacher, positive discipline and classroom management, curriculum design and strategies, structure of the day, parent-teacher relationships, assessment, student goal setting and record keeping.
