The course component covers the philosophy and rationale of the Montessori curriculum math area and presentation of the Montessori math materials that aid in the development of mathematical concepts and skills: introduction to numbers, numeration, place value, fractions, and the basic operations of addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Prerequisite MONT 500 or instructor permission
