Focusing on cultural subjects from a holistic perspective, participants are prepared to support the young child's (age 6-9) understanding of social studies concepts. Students learn teaching methods for guiding the child's exploration of human culture, including geography and history integrated with culturally specific arts. Prerequisite MONT 500 or permission of instructor.
