Great Lessons

Catalog description

Candidates will learn to use the Five Great Montessori Lessons including: The Story of the Universe, The Story of Life, The Story of Humans, The Story of Language, and The Story of Mathematics, as well as other supportive lessons to engage learners in the Montessori integrated cosmic curriculum and to broaden their conceptual understanding of the connections between disciplines. Candidates will practice giving the lessons with prepared props and will also have the opportunity to write their own versions of some of the narratives used in The Great Lessons. Prerequisites: MONT 500 or permission of instructor.
