Catalog description
A short-term, apprenticeship (usually lasting for one semester or summer) with a business or government organization. The student learns to perform the tasks of a regular employee, applying theoretical knowledge in communication and research to practical situations. In addition, the student learns about career opportunities open to Modern Language majors and minors. Prerequisites: Junior or higher standing; 2.5 or higher GPA; permission of English Department internship supervisor. F, W, Sp, SS
