Catalog description

This course is designed to develop students' abilities to think, organize and express their mathematical ideas clearly and effectively in writing. Emphasis is placed on the various aspects of mathematics exposition, including overall organization, description of notation, definitions, theorems, examples, appropriate use of tables and figures, and mathematical typesetting. Prerequisites: Math 236, Math 256, and Math 266. (Sp)
