Catalog description

The fundamental theory and methods used in ordinary differential equations are presented. Applications from physics and engineering are illustrated. Topics include first- and second-order linear differential equations, first-order nonlinear differential equations, series solutions, and Laplace transforms. Prerequisite: MATH 268 or PHYS 361 (F, SP)
