Catalog description

Students will study the process of mathematical modeling: do background research on a problem, create appropriate models, use technology to implement the models, and test the validity of the models. Requirements include a mathematical modeling project with a written report. Pre-requisites: Math 167 and 236 and 256 or instructor consent. (F, even years)
