Catalog description

This course is for pre-service high school mathematics teachers on how to use emerging technologies in the mathematics classroom. Students will learn to use interactive web-based materials, dynamic software, virtual manipulatives for representation, screencasting, mobile applications for assessment purposes, visual representation tools, appropriate hardware, and video to support the teaching and learning of high school mathematics. This is a required course as part of the High School Mathematics Block experience. Prerequisites: This course is a portion of the high school math methods block. Concurrent enrollment in TED 438, TED 464, and TED 467. Admission to Teacher Ed or EPP admission Tier II. (Sp)
