Catalog description

This course introduces statistical concepts and analytical methods in the biomedical sciences. Topics include probability theory and distributions, descriptive statistics, hypothesis testing, analysis of variance, and nonparametric methods. The course provides students an introduction to the use of statistical packages. Pre-requisites: Math 147 or 149 or instructor consent. (F, Sp)
