Catalog description

This course will include a study of functions, solution of equations, and solution of inequalities. Special attention is given to the analysis and graphing of linear, quadratic, polynomial, exponential, and logarithmic functions. Applications of these topics are included. Prerequisite: WPT Math Formula score of 40+, ACT Math score of 20+, or Math 30 . Students with WPT Math Formula score of 10-40 are required to concurrently enroll in MATH 046, unless the Math ACT score is 22+. Students with WPT Math Formula score of 50 are recommended to concurrently enroll in MATH 046. May not be taken after receiving a C or better in a math course with a higher number except 216, 246, 247 or 248. (F,Sp,SS)
