Catalog description

This course is designed to teach students mathematical skills needed for informed decision-making. Its emphasis is on mathematical reasoning and its practical application in a variety of contexts. Topics include modeling and inference, construction and interpretation of graphical displays of data, and statistics. Prerequisite: WPT Math Formula score of 40+, ACT Math score of 20+, or MATH 25 or MATH 30. May not be taken after receiving a C or better in a math course with a higher number. (Sp)
