Catalog description

This course provides a survey of topics from geometry, counting/probability, problem solving, and number systems. While emphasis is on the spirit, concepts, and structure of mathematics, manipulative skills and techniques are also developed. WPT Math Formula score of 40+, ACT Math score of 20+, MATH 25 or MATH 30 (MATH 25 is recommended over MATH 30). May not be taken after receiving a C or better in a math course with a higher number except 216, 246, 247 or 248. (F)
