This course is a continuation of the styles of news writing for print, broadcast and online media, with an emphasis on writing public-affairs news stories, features, evaluating the credibility of internet sources, analyzing the newsworthiness of information, and on writing fairly and accurately for diverse audiences. Prerequisites: C or better in JOUR 112, Introduction to News Reporting and Writing Offering Term(s): Spring
