Senior Seminar

Catalog description

The student chooses a topic (with the consent of the instructor) of current interest in horticultural science and conducts a comprehensive investigation of the scientific literature relevant to that topic. The student summarizes the results of the investigation in an oral presentation to his/her peers using appropriate visual aids. Students will also be mentored in job searches and career development skills. Prerequisite: Senior standing. (F)
