Teaching of Family Life & Sexuality Education

Catalog description

This course is designed to provide an understanding of the content and methodology of teaching sexuality and family life education in the school setting. A substantial amount of time will be spent on exploring personal values and attitudes toward human sexuality, and what goes into developing a sexually healthy individual. Time will be spent researching state policies and conducting sexuality education teaching techniques. (F)
