Catalog description

This course focuses on the project definition and design phases of the student's senior capstone project, where broadly-defined industry-relevant problems are solved in the areas of machine design, food and process engineering, structures, and environmental engineering. Students will be engaged in projects that incorporate multiple constraints, appropriate engineering standards, and are based on knowledge and skills based on earlier course work. External stakeholder input will be important during the project definition phase. The student will carry out implementation of the project in GENG 485 the following semester. Prerequisites: AGEN or ENVN major and Senior Standing. (F)
