This course explores the similarities and differences among financial institutions: banks, savings and loans, credit unions, finance companies, insurance companies, mutual funds, and pension funds. They are reviewed in terms of their utilization of financial markets, regulatory aspects, and financial performance. Prerequisite: FINC 345.
