Advanced Exercise Testing and Prescription

Catalog description

This is an advanced course designed to provide an in-depth review and discussion of exercise testing and prescription techniques. Students will develop a sound understanding of various fitness, sub maximal, and maximal exercise testing procedures; and recognize when, how, and why these tests should be administered. Students will also gain the skills necessary to provide exercise prescriptions to a variety of individuals, including healthy populations and those with chronic disease diagnoses. Prerequisites: EXSS 701 (Sp).
