Catalog description

This course introduces students to the research process with a focus on research problem construction, literature review skills, and methodological design. It also introduces students to bivariate statistics with a focus on descriptive analysis, hypothesis testing, and interpretation of correlations, independent and dependent samples t tests, and analysis of variance (ANOVA). Students will obtain the tools necessary to apply evidence-based practices in their future professions by gaining basic literacy in research design and statistical analysis. Prerequisites: Senior standing. (F,Sp)
