Catalog description

The fundamentals of site development and design will be covered. Topics include site design project phases and engineering plans, specifications, and bid packages. Site design covers hydrologic engineering fundamentals of pre- and post-development hydrographs and mitigation of peak runoff rates and volumes and erosion control. Geotechnical engineering aspects of excavation volume, production rates, compaction, settling, and retaining wall design will be addressed. Prerequisite: SOIL 120 (Sp)
