Catalog description

This course addresses the evaluation of water quality in streams and lakes is addressed. Sources and sinks of pollutants are analyzed in surface water systems. The latter part of the course will focus on engineering analysis of groundwater systems. Topics of ground water hydrology, contaminant characterization, transport, transfer, and reaction of pollutants will be addressed. Prerequisites: ENVN 326. (Sp)
