Catalog description

This course addresses a broad discussion of environmental engineering in the context of sustainability. Topics covered include: life-cycle analysis, international perspective of environmental engineering, ethics in engineering, a global perspective of environmental regulations, history of environmental regulation, and analysis of secondary and tertiary effects of environmental decisions. Discussions are framed in the context of air quality, solid waste management, or water quality issues. Prerequisites: ENVN 280 or consent of instructor (Sp).
