Advanced Composition

Catalog description

Students will read experienced writers as emerging writers themselves, looking at the ways experienced writers structure their prose for their specific audiences and purposes. We will consider the strategies writers use to develop voice and style, argument and organization. We will read one another¿s essays critically and constructively, developing a writers¿ community that encourages innovation and artistic expression. Prerequisite: Completion of the CA requirement.
