Catalog description
This course prepares students for the work they will do in English 100. Emphasis is placed on using the writing process to produce essays on a variety of subjects. Throughout the semester, students will read and discuss various articles as they work on building their critical reading and thinking skills. Prerequisites: English Placement Test (WEPT) score of 350 or lower. Degree credit is not given for this course. (F, SP)
