Introduction to Creative Writing

Catalog description

This course serves as an introduction to all forms of creative writing for nonmajors. The focus will be on developing one's voice, practice, and craft. We will explore core concepts such as image, conflict, and characterization, and will learn how to critically analyze creative works. Students will complete projects of fiction, poetry, creative nonfiction, and screenplays, depending on their interests. (F, Sp)
