Catalog description

This course covers literature through a specific topic lens. Through that lens, the major genres of literature are introduced: poetry, the essay, fiction, and drama. It teaches the basic elements of literature: character, plot, voice, narration, dialogue, poetic speaker, and prosody. Each instructor of this course will have latitude in assigning guiding topics. Prerequisites: NONE Offering Term(s): Fall, SS, Spring, Winter
