This course examines school leadership roles (the principal and director of instruction) in ensuring high quality curriculum design, instructional methodologies, and assessments. Students will explore designs for school effectiveness, research trends and social/political factors that impact learning within the context of federal legislation, state accountability, and effective practice research.
