Data Visualization

Catalog description

This course is designed to introduce data visualization as both an analytical tool and a medium of communication. Students will learn best practices in data visualization, sharpen analytical skills, and learn how to design dashboards for use by stakeholders. The skills developed will be applicable to many of the most popular data visualization software packages in the current marketplace. Finally, students will synthesize course material in a comprehensive team-based final project. Prerequisites: Admission to a UWRF graduate program or certificate. (As offered)
